What to look for in English Mastiff Puppy Breeders

The OEMC does not recommend individual breeders and will not interfere in any buying and selling arrangements. That said, the website does list advertised puppies when available. 2.) Womlu Mastiffs – Battle, East Sussex

Womlu Mastiffs are based in Battle, East Sussex. This Mastiff breeder is run by Steve & Tracey Coulman-Hole who have been in love with Mastiffs since the early 90s. They spend a lot of time and energy in puppy welfare, investing in separate play areas and “the puppy palace” which is an impressive space where puppies and mother can play and nurture. 

At Womlu Mastiffs, there is a large focus on early development and stimulation. This is because for all its size and appearance, the Mastiff is still a fairly sensitive breed. The puppy palace is well air conditioned and operates with great sanitisation standards. Their ability to develop puppies in such a clean safe haven from an early age has led to them toilet training puppies as young as six weeks.  

Additionally, all Mastiff puppies have been health screened and leave with an information pack, 5 weeks free insurance, wormer for their 12 week worming date, health information on areas such as bloat and growth. Hallberd Mastiffs is run by Mr Malcom Clarke, it is located in West Wales. Mr Clarke has been a Mastiff enthusiast since a young boy, but could only do breeding justice in recent years. He currently owns 6 of these magnificent dogs. 

Hallberd Mastiffs has had some success with show dogs, and occasionally has puppy stock for approved homes. All puppies are health screened, dewormed and come with their first vaccinations.

Morganlefay Mastiffs live on a 300 acre farm on the outskirts of Wymeswold, in the heart of Leicestershire. They are a small hobby breeder of Mastiffs which has between 1-2 litters a year.
